LADY BLUE & GOLD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Lady Blue & Gold Scholarship Program is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to supporting and inspiring females to pursue higher education and community involvement. The scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students across the United States who maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and plan to attend or are already enrolled in a state-accredited college or university.

Funds are awarded to help offset educational expenses and may be used each year the recipient remains enrolled in higher education. Applicants are required to submit an application form, academic transcripts or proof of acceptance, and an original essay of no more than 500 words describing how a female role model motivated them to serve their community.

Selections are based on eligibility, essay quality, and academic standing. Applications are submitted electronically, and recipients are formally notified by the organization’s board, with awards distributed directly to the student.

Founded on the principles of dedication, integrity, and selflessness, our mission is to support our local communities as well as serve our fellow Law Enforcement and First Responders.

Led by female troopers- we are a diverse group of individuals, who have come together to make a positive impact on the lives of those around us. Our team, both men and women, is committed to going above and beyond to ensure the well-being of the communities and organizations we serve.

MISSION STATEMENT

Lady Blue and Gold was created in 2000 by motivated New Jersey State Troopers.

Our organization is dedicated to Team Volunteerism and committed to building and maintaining relationships with our fellow law enforcement brothers and sisters.

Our goal is to raise money to provide resources for our heroes and families who experience life-changing events or face unforeseen disasters.

WHAT WE DO

Lady Blue & Gold, founded by motivated New Jersey State Troopers in 2000, embodies the spirit of Team Volunteerism.

We actively engage in fundraising and community service to support our law enforcement and First Responder community.

When underserved and marginalized girls in Asbury Park needed toys for Christmas, not only did the team step in to provide Christmas surprises, but they explained what they did in their professional lives too. Lady Blue & Gold helped the girls to see for themselves that law enforcement is more than just enforcing the law, it's also protecting, serving, and giving back to the community. I cannot thank you enough for being such great role models.

Childhood Leukemia Foundation was honored to be chosen as a recipient of Lady Blue and Gold's 20th Anniversary Softball State Police Women's Tournament. It was truly inspirational to see everyone from different states come together for such an amazing event. These women and men put their hearts and souls into this event, and you can see it in everything they do. Because of this event and the people who give their time and dedication to it, the Childhood Leukemia Foundation was able to reach out and touch the lives of so many children battling cancer. And just like these brave women and men who put their lives on the line every day, the children we serve are true heroes.
