Heather Width-Sysol

HEATHER WIDTH-SYSOL

Born in Abington PA and raised in NJ, Heather has always wanted to be in law enforcement after graduating from the NJ State Police Trooper Youth Week Program at the age of 17. Heather started a career in law enforcement as a Special Police Officer at the age of 19. She worked as a Class I and a Class II Officer at the municipal level for 5 years. She entered the NJSP Academy in 2006 and has been a member of Lady Blue & Gold since 2008.

Since joining Lady Blue & Gold she has participated in countless community service events and training sessions. After 17 years of service for the NJSP she holds the rank of Lieutenant for the Special Operations Section, Homeland Security Branch. Heather has been an adjunct professor for the past 12 years at Stockton University where she teaches Criminal Justice and mentors’ students at the undergraduate level. In her free time, she spends time with her spouse, and her three young children. She also coaches’ soccer, tee ball, and basketball for youth sports.

Laura Reustle

LAURA REUSTLE

Laura participated in Patriots PT Event hosted by Lady Blue and Gold where she learned about the organization and became a member in 2023. Since joining the organization, she has participated in multiple community outreach events and is now the Social Media Account Manager. Laura was the first member of her family to graduate college and the only one to become a law enforcement officer.

Laura started her law enforcement career as a Class I Officer in Point Pleasant Beach. She has been a New Jersey State Trooper since 2014 and currently holds the rank of Detective in the Financial Crimes South Unit in the Investigations Branch. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, friends, and dogs. She enjoys participating in 5K/10k charity runs and hopes to train for and run a marathon in the future.

Kristin Welch

KRISTIN WELCH

Kristin was Born in Trenton, NJ and currently resides in Hamilton, Mercer County. She has always wanted to help people and give back to the community ever since she was in college. After graduating from Trenton State College, she was employed with NJM Insurance Company for almost 9 years. She entered the NJSP Academy in 2004 and has been a member of Lady Blue & Gold since 2006.

Since joining Lady Blue & Gold she has participated in countless community service events and training sessions. After 19 years of service for the NJSP she holds the rank of Sergeant First Class. Kristin is very active with health and wellness. She enjoys playing co-ed Pickleball tournaments, beach volleyball, and coaching youth sports. She loves spending quality time with her mother, enjoys the theatre, hiking, kayaking, reading, and playing softball.

ALLISON PAVLOSKY

Allison was Born in Roxbury, NJ and currently resides in Andover, Sussex County. She was a chemist with Benjamin Moore Paints after graduation and realized her true passion was in helping people and engaging in her community. She entered the Union County Police Academy and was a Police Officer with the Chester Township Police Academy for around two years. Then in 2011, she was accepted into the NJSP Academy and has been a member of Lady Blue & Gold since 2023.

Since joining Lady Blue & Gold she has participated in countless community service events and training sessions. After 11 years of service for the NJSP she holds the rank of Sergeant. She has been involved with the Alcohol and Drug Testing Unit, Open Public Records Unit, and currently in the Diversity and Inclusion Unit. Allison enjoys cultivating her vegetable garden and keeping fit by running outside, hiking, or kayaking. She also enjoys spending time with her husband who is also a member of the NJSP and her two sons and daughter.

Angela Correia

ANGELA CORREIA

I have been a member of Lady Blue and Gold since 2022 and currently serve as the secretary to the organization. Since joining the organization, I have participated in several community outreach events in which I always am reminded of my “why.” I began my law enforcement career with NJSP back in 2020 and currently assigned in the Field Operations Section. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, going to the gym and spending time with my family and dogs.
