This is a 18” X 24” open edition print. This was the first official New Jersey State Police print in 1979 approved by Colonel Clinton Pagano and aided in raising funds for the Annual State Police Banquet at that time. It was created by artist and retired State Trooper Joseph M. Getsinger #2697 and painted by George C. Vail of Audubon, NJ. This print depicts an early typical New Jersey State Police barracks scene with the uniform, colt pistol and gear hanging on the chair for easy access. This was a time when the troopers were “on-call” and slept at the barracks during their shifts. At the bottom of the print is the NJSP hat badge which can be personalized with a badge number. A great print for your collection.
